Changelog
What changed in Earlie, newest first. Many changes start with a message from someone who uses it.
2 changes
"2 tortilla wraps" used to count two big wraps with no question, while "2 wraps" and "2 tortillas" asked how big yours are. Now a tortilla wrap counts as a tortilla, so the first time Earlie asks once about your size, and a corn tortilla wrap counts at the size of a corn tortilla.
When Earlie asked how big yesterday's portion was and you answered "100 g", it then asked you for a yes, and the day kept the old amount. Now your answer is the yes: Earlie changes the earlier day in the same reply and tells you the new total. A packaged food counted from its label now scales from its own label numbers too.
13 changes
When you say you are taking a break from the gym and are back on Monday, Earlie now ends the break on Sunday and plans for Monday. If you correct the day, Earlie saves the new day before he confirms it, and a workout already planned for that day comes back.
When your gym has two machines that fit your words and you sent a photo with your question, Earlie no longer asks you for a photo. He reads the label in your photo, or asks one short question, such as whether the machine has a weight stack or plates.
When your morning message opens with the workout you planned, its one question is how your sore spot feels. Any other question Earlie promised to ask you now waits for another morning, and it then comes as a real question.
This morning's change that holds the workout message after two unanswered tips also held it for a person who had not had a single tip yet. That person now gets the message about their workout as before. Nobody missed a message.
"Some salsa" now counts as a tomato salsa, about 15 kcal for a spoon, not as a green herb sauce made with oil. For other sauces and dressings whose numbers differ a lot, Earlie picks the one your words show, or asks you once. And when the food table's first guess was wrong, Earlie can correct it before he answers you.
When you have left two of Earlie's tips without an answer that day, the message about your workout now waits too. It comes after you next write, so a quiet day never fills up with messages.
Say "did bench first" while Earlie is on another exercise, and the bench is added to your visit while the exercise you were on stays next. When you did something else in its place, Earlie now tells you which exercise came off today's list.
When you had "2 tacos like yesterday" and yesterday's meal was saved as the whole plate with no count, Earlie could count its number for each taco, about three times too much. Now Earlie asks once how many were on that plate and counts each piece from your answer.
A stretching, mobility or recovery day, or a class with no weights, is now saved in one step, with its minutes if you say them; Earlie asks how long only once. Your week shows it on its own line. And saying "skip that day" about one question no longer makes Earlie forget a different one.
When you have already been chatting with Earlie that morning, the morning message no longer asks what you ate yesterday. It picks up where your chat left off and only says what is new.
The site, the product pages and this changelog now live at earlie.ai, in Earlie's new look. Every old link opens the same page there, and a short line under the sign-up box shows how many changes shipped this week. The pages call your trainer "he".
When you said "2 slices of bread" or "felii de pâine", Earlie sometimes counted the bread as pieces, saved it at a guessed weight and never asked how big your slices are. Now every count of sliced bread is counted in slices, and the first time Earlie asks once whether yours are thin or thick.
When you said "2 wraps", Earlie could count two whole souvlaki pitas, and "2 toasts" could count as French toast. Now a wrap on its own counts as a tortilla wrap and toast on its own (in English) as slices of bread, and the first time Earlie asks once how big yours are.
24 changes
Say "bench 2x 6/4/2, top 70" at the gym when "bench" could be more than one machine, and Earlie asks which one you mean. Once you answer, all 6 sets are saved, not only the top set.
Write a climb the way you say it at the gym, like "bench 2x 6/4/2, top 70" or "2 serii de 6/4/2 cu 70 la final", and Earlie saves all 6 sets: the top weight on the 2s, the other sets with no weight he would have to guess. He answers in one line, "Bench: 6 / 4 / 2 twice, top 70 kg", and adds "your best so far" when it is a new best. Reps that go up and down get one question instead.
When a dish you had before comes out far from last time's number, Earlie keeps the new number only when your words or your photo say what is different, for example "small ones this time". Otherwise he logs last time's number and asks you once. A food named with no number counts as one, so "egg" is one egg.
When you write how many you had, for example "4 steak tacos", and Earlie saves a different count, he now fixes the meal at once and tells you the right number. Before, the wrong number stayed until your next message. A photo with no count still keeps its first estimate until you say more.
When your last six days almost cover the week's step goal, the morning message now gives you your usual daily goal as an easy day to walk, instead of a few hundred steps. Walking more never raises the next day's target.
When you type your number with its country code, like +44 or 0044, the box now picks that country and keeps the rest of your number as you typed it. A code that matches no country asks you to check it or pick the country first.
A photo of a machine at the gym now gets an answer in seconds. Earlie reads the label from the photo once and answers, or asks you which machine it is when the label cannot be read, instead of studying the picture again and again while you wait.
When you have a dish again and Earlie's new guess is far from last time's number, Earlie logs last time's number and asks one short question in the same message, for example "Same size as Monday's steak tacos (about 350 each), or smaller ones (about 180 each)?" Say "smaller" and he changes the meal to his new guess. Say "same", or nothing, and last time's number stays.

A second food minutes later is its own meal, and the same plate counts once
Food photos and macrosWhen you tell Earlie about another food a few minutes after a meal, he now logs it as its own meal, and the earlier meal keeps everything you ate. The same plate told twice under another name, like "steak tacos" and "tacos with beef", counts once. "Again" after a dish you had earlier logs it again.
If your first message to Earlie asks to delete your data and you then answer no, Earlie now counts that message as you writing in. Your sign-up moves on as it would after a hello, so you do not need to text again to be let in, and the reply after your no is all in the language you wrote.
When Earlie does not know your gym yet, he asks which one before he sends a workout, and any machine in the list comes as a question with a free weight option. A plan made away from the gym is the exercise names only, with an animation when you ask to see one. Several animations now come under one short line instead of a line for each.
Tortillas, pita and slices of bread come in very different sizes, so the first time you log one without a size, Earlie saves the meal and asks once which size yours are, for example small taco tortillas or big wraps. Your answer fixes that meal and every one after it, with no more questions. A size you name for one meal counts for that meal only.
When you tell Earlie how much water you had, or ask how much you had today, Earlie may end his answer with one sentence: he can remind you to drink water during the day, just say "remind me to drink water". At most once a month and three times in all, and never once your reminders are on or your water messages are off.
Earlie's food table now knows about 50 Greek and 50 Italian dishes, from portokalopita and gemista to cacio e pepe, arancini and an Aperol spritz. They work by their local, English or Romanian name, and a slice, a piece or a portion has its own weight. Each one comes from a home or trattoria recipe, checked against the Greek and Italian national food tables.
A reply that would end on a half-written question now ends on its last full sentence. Earlie's notes to himself about how to split a message into bubbles no longer show up in your messages: you just get the separate bubbles.
The weekly look back now ends with three small goals from your own week. Reply 1, 2 or 3 (or say which one in words) and each morning message tells you how far along you are; the next weekly look back starts with how it went.
Tell Earlie "I don't have that here" and he swaps the exercise and remembers: no plan at that gym offers it again, while other gyms still can. Say it is there after all, or log a set on it there, and it comes back.
When you say you trained and will tell Earlie about it, he now asks for the exercises, sets x reps and kg in one line. If the workout has not come in, Earlie asks for it once more later, so the session still counts toward your progress and your next plan.
When you write "3 loaded steak tacos", the diary now saves those words, with the 3. Before, a meal of one food could be saved under a shorter name, like "steak taco", and lose the count. With the count kept, the "same size?" question, the tortilla size answer and "the same as last time" count your pieces right.
After Earlie tells you to see a doctor today, he no longer asks "did you get it checked?" a few minutes later. The question waits until the next morning, or comes right away when you mention a doctor, a clinic or a check-up yourself.
If you write to Earlie from your Apple ID email, or from any address Earlie cannot match to a sign-up, the short hello that points you to earlie.ai now arrives within seconds. Send the code the site showed you, or write from the phone number you signed up with, and Earlie picks up your sign-up as before.
When a gym visit ends, Earlie now names your next gym day from the days you gave him, counted on your own clock. If you only gave a number of days a week, he names no day.
Earlie asks one question per message. When he had just asked about something else, the size question for your tortillas, pita or bread used to wait for half an hour. Now it comes with your next meal message.
When you and Earlie plan a workout for today, the morning message now starts with it: the kind of day and the exercise names. If the plan works the part of the body that hurts, the one question that morning is how it feels. If you trained the same muscles in the last two days, Earlie keeps your plan and offers the other option in one line.
7 changes
When your gym's list only has a machine as a maybe, Earlie now says he is not sure and asks you, even when you already sent a photo, instead of naming it. A missing machine or gym is added by the team, so Earlie offers to send your photo on and never says he will add it himself.
When your last six days already cover the week's step goal, the morning check-in now says how many steps you really walked. Before, it said the week's goal was "already banked" and gave the goal's number, which could be much less than you walked.
When you are already at the gym and ask what to train, Earlie now offers only workouts you can do there. If you trained most muscles in the last two days, the second choice is a short core session, not a rest day. Away from the gym, a rest day can still be one of the choices.
How a workout felt is always your own answer. Earlie's own notes still showed a made-up example ("strong"), which could lead him to fill in a feeling you never said. The examples now show the real steps: the close of the visit asks you once, and only your answer is kept.
When a food was fried or cooked in oil, like fried eggs or a schnitzel, its calories already include the oil. Earlie now knows that and no longer adds a separate spoon of oil on top, so the meal is not counted higher than what you ate.
When you log your last exercise, Earlie now closes the visit at once: a well done, your summary with its records, the record picture when there is one, and one question on how it felt. He asks that question only once, and a short answer like "right" counts.
The picture after a gym visit used to leave out a record when the exercise had fewer than three earlier visits, or when there were more than three records. Now every record the recap names is in the picture: up to three charts, and a small tile for each other record with the set and how much it beat your best.
17 changes
Say "the same shawarma, with chicken meat and pickles" and Earlie logs the meal from your diary again, the bread too. Before, a word like "meat", "carne" or "piece" next to a food was read as a new food, the repeat was turned away, and the meal could be saved without one of its parts. The word alone ("plus some meat"), or next to a food the meal does not have ("pork meat"), is still checked with you first.
Foods with a shared word now count as themselves. "1 corn dog" is a corn dog of about 78 g, not a croissant, and a slice of banana bread is about 60 g. For foods with no natural piece, like orange juice, corn flakes or potato chips, Earlie asks for the amount instead of borrowing the weight of an orange or a potato.
If your iPhone writes to Earlie from your Apple ID email, or from any address Earlie cannot match to a sign-up, Earlie now answers with a short hello and points you to earlie.ai, instead of a line that he cannot share. Write from the phone number you signed up with and Earlie picks up your sign-up.
"Pita" on its own now counts as pita bread, about 60 g for one, not as a small cherry-like fruit with a similar name. The Romanian word "lipie" means the same bread. An egg roll counts as an egg roll, not as an egg dinner roll, and "rulou de primăvară" counts as a spring roll.
"Whole wheat pita" now counts as whole-wheat pita bread, about 64 g for one, not as raw durum wheat grain. The Romanian "pita integrală" and "lipie integrală" mean the same bread. "Durum wheat" on its own still finds the grain.
During a gym visit, a list of sets such as "lever preacher curl: 12x 14kg / 12x 23kg / 10x 32kg" was saved as its first, lightest set when the exercise name came with it. Earlie now reads the list the same way with or without the name: the top set, the number of sets and every set you typed. "12x empty" (the empty machine) now counts as 0 kg added, not as part of the name.
In English, "corn" now counts as sweet corn, about 86 kcal per 100 g, and one ear weighs about 100 g. Before, Earlie read it as the Romanian word for a croissant, about five times more. In Romanian, "corn" is still a croissant, and "porumb", "porumb fiert" and "știuleți" now count as corn.
A corn tortilla now counts as a normal small taco tortilla, about 28 g and 60 kcal. Before, Earlie used a rare blue-corn line and the weight of a big wheat wrap, so three tacos counted twice too high. A tortilla with no other word is still a wheat wrap.
Earlie now names every exercise the way a coach would, in his questions, his replies and your training diary. Before, some names kept notes about the demo video, such as the camera angle ("side pov") or the take number ("v. 2").
When you text a workout and do not say how it felt, Earlie no longer fills in a feeling for you. Your sets are saved, and Earlie asks you once how it felt. Your answer, like "just right", is saved on that workout.
On a machine that helps you, like the assisted pull-up, less weight is harder, yet Earlie once said you had "the same help" as last time when you had more. Now he compares your top set with last time's and says it plainly: less help, more help or the same help, and how many reps more or fewer. A climb of sets on this machine now reads as the help coming down to your top set.
"1 canned corn" or "1 frozen corn" now counts as one serving of about 85 g, and creamed corn as about 128 g. Before, Earlie counted 60 g, the weight of a croissant. A frozen ear of corn counts as about 63 g, a fresh or boiled ear as about 100 g.

See the record and progress pictures before you join
A picture of your recordHow am I doing, in one pictureThe home page and the two picture pages now show the record picture and the "how am I doing" picture as they arrive in Messages. The numbers in them are made up for the example.
After you leave your number, the box opens Messages with a short hi and your code, or shows a code to scan with your iPhone camera on a computer. Send it and Earlie answers right away, wherever you live. The code also works when your iPhone writes from your Apple ID email.
When you ask what to train, Earlie now skips any option that works the muscles you trained in the last two days, so the day after an upper body day he offers legs or a rest day, not a push or pull day. If you still pick a repeat, Earlie tells you once that you just trained those muscles and what is due next, and saves your choice.
When Earlie sets or reads your gym for today, a command he sometimes reached for first now works, so that wrong turn no longer costs him a retry and the answer comes sooner.
"Whole wheat bread" now counts as whole-wheat sliced bread, about 32 g for one slice, not as a whole-wheat pita. The Romanian "pâine integrală" and "pâine din făină integrală" mean the same bread. "Whole wheat pita" still counts as the pita.
15 changes
When you use a general name like "lat pulldown machine" or "cable chest fly", Earlie no longer picks a narrower version you did not say, such as a reverse grip pulldown or a one arm decline fly, and no longer corrects your name to a narrower version you did not say. He keeps the general exercise, or asks you which one you mean.
A small number next to a food now means pieces when Earlie looks up a meal: "omelet 2" is two omelets, 20 or more still means grams, and when the table cannot tell (oil, a number in between) Earlie asks which. "Small" and "large" (also "mic", "mică", "mare") are read as the size of one piece, shown with the numbers. A whole dish that comes out under 10 kcal gets a warning, so Earlie checks the amount before saving it.
When you write a climb of reps in one line, like "bench 2x 6/4/2, top 70", Earlie no longer saves a wrong set from it, at the gym or after. He saves nothing for that exercise, tells you so, and asks you for the weight and reps of each set.
A workout written with its day in the same line, like "on 6/10 I did bench press 3x10 60kg", was saved under a broken name ("on / bench press"), so it did not join the bench press history. Earlie now leaves the date out of the name and saves it as bench press. The workout still goes on the day it was sent.
earlie.ai/gyms is a page for gym owners: why new members drop out (research, with sources), what Earlie does about each cause, what he asks of the gym, and a short form to put the gym in Earlie, answered by the team. It has its own menu item, "For gyms", and the home page's gym part links to it.
When you list your session and one exercise has no weight, Earlie now saves it as bodyweight and tells you so, instead of leaving it out. Earlie then tells you exactly the sets he saved. If one could not be saved, he says that plainly.
During a gym visit, a set written as "bench press 3x10 60kg", "3x10 @60" or "3 sets of 10 at 60" was saved with the number of sets as the weight (3 kg). Earlie now reads it as 3 sets of 10 at 60 kg, the same way he reads those words after the visit.
When Earlie tells you to have a pain checked by a doctor or a physio, he now remembers. A few days later the morning message asks once if it still hurts and what they said, and Earlie follows the doctor's advice in your training. Say the pain went away and the question is dropped.
When a pain spreads to a second place, Earlie now asks about the doctor once, not once for each place. The question always asks first whether it still hurts.
A per-leg set written like "lunge 3x10/10 20kg" (10 reps on each leg) was saved under a broken name ("lunge /"), so it did not join the lunge history. Earlie now reads "10/10" as 10 reps and saves it as lunge, 3 sets of 10 at 20 kg. Two different numbers, like "10/8", are still a climb, and Earlie still asks about each set.
After a meal, Earlie says how much protein is left for the day the same way he says calories: "130 g protein left of your 135". Before, he sometimes gave your whole day's protein target as what was left, even after you had eaten some.
The product page now has a Coming soon part: what is being built now and what is planned next, with no dates. When a feature ships, it leaves that list and shows up here.
A general word like "vegetables", "salad", "fruit" or "sauce" is a different plate each time, so Earlie no longer gives it the number from last time. When both numbers came from the food table, Earlie compares them per 100 g, so a bigger or smaller portion of the same food is saved as you ate it. A dish with a name, like a Big Mac, still starts from last time's number.
When your watch records a strength workout during a gym visit, your health day now shows it as that visit, not as a second workout. Asking for your training day without naming a date now gives you today.
The strength workout your watch records during a gym visit now joins that visit. Your day and your week show each visit with the minutes, calories and average heart rate from the watch, and Earlie no longer counts it as a second workout. With a health condition on file, you see the minutes only.
14 changes
When you tell Earlie in the evening what you had for breakfast or lunch, the meal is now kept at that time of day, not at the moment you wrote. So the next morning Earlie still sees that dinner is missing and asks about it, instead of reading your breakfast as dinner.
When you add a food to a meal you told earlier, for example "this morning I also had a boiled egg", the whole breakfast now moves to breakfast time. A meal that already sits at its time stays there.
When you write "this morning I had a coffee and a banana" after lunch, the meal is now kept at breakfast time because you said "this morning", even when Earlie does not call it breakfast. Your day lists it before lunch, in the order you ate.
- Fixed
A quick "was that good?" after your workout message is answered about the workout
A well done after each workoutWhen you reply with a few words, or just an emoji, soon after the message about your walk or ride, Earlie now answers about that workout and keeps it short. He no longer turns a quick "was that good?" into a review of what you ate today.
After a hike, a ride, a run or any workout your phone or watch records, Earlie sends one short message with its real numbers and a well done. It replaces the old note that only knew bike rides. Say you'd rather not get them and they stop.
When your day is far under your calorie target in the evening, and protein is very low, Earlie says so gently and offers one small protein option for tonight before he talks about tomorrow. He no longer calls a day like that a nice light day.
Daytime reminders no longer stop at a fixed number each day: each comes at its own time, once a day, and none come after two you did not answer. If you chose "a little", you still get at most one. Earlie waits at least 25 minutes between his own messages and sends at most 12 a day.
When you answer two water reminders one after the other, the second reply is also just your water for the day. Before, a word about your walk could slip in front of it.
Greek yogurt now counts as the strained yogurt people buy for protein, about 18 g in a 200 g pot. Before, it was counted as a creamy Greek-style yogurt with 6 g. Say 0%, 2% or low fat and Earlie uses that one.
Say "keep the protein tips coming", "keep sending the step reminders" or "păstrează mesajele de proteine", and that message stays on (or comes back if it was off). When Earlie is not sure which message you mean, he now asks which ones you want on or off, never which ones to stop.
When you tell Earlie about a breakfast later in the day, your day now lists that breakfast first, before the lunch you wrote earlier. Before, meals were listed in the order you wrote them.
The short summary and well done after a new workout is now on for everyone whose phone or watch sends health data. Say you'd rather not get them and they stop.
When two workouts come in one message, it now says morning, afternoon or evening after when you did them, not after when the message was sent. An afternoon walk read late in the day is no longer a busy evening.
7 changes
When you log a dish you had before, Earlie compares the number for each piece. Now "steak tacos x4" counts as four tacos, the same as "4 steak tacos". Before, a count after the name was read as one taco, so a good number for four looked four times too big.
Asked a second time in the same chat, "what's for dinner?" could still bring plates built on the foods you named the first time, without asking what is in your fridge. Now every new question gets plates from the foods named in that message only. If you name none, Earlie uses what you usually eat and asks what is in your fridge.
When you tell Earlie "did 135 lb for 8" at the gym, the set is now saved as 135 lb, even when you use kilos. Before, it could be saved as 135 kg. A number with no unit still counts in your own unit.
When you answer a water reminder, Earlie now replies with your water for the day and nothing else. A word about your steps or an offer of a workout waits for your next message.
When you say "same again" about something you ate earlier today, Earlie now logs an exact copy of that meal, with the same numbers. Before, he only looked at earlier days and made a new guess.
When a meal has two or more dishes that are not in Earlie's food table, like a restaurant lunch, Earlie finds their numbers and counts them together with the table foods in one step. Before, he could take only one such dish at a time, so the answer came more slowly. The numbers are the same as before.
When you say you had the same meal again with a different count, for example "steak tacos x4" after a meal of 2 tacos, Earlie now logs 4 tacos, each counted the same as last time. Before, he copied the old meal with its old count.
42 changes
Write your sets the way you say them, like "bench 3x8 at 60", "@60", "with 60" or, in Romanian, "3 serii de 8 cu 60". Earlie reads the number as the weight, in your unit, and logs it straight away. He no longer tries several times first, so your answer comes back faster.
Say "another round" or "the same as last time" and Earlie logs a new meal and keeps the earlier one whole. Before, Earlie could take one food out of the earlier meal by mistake.
Say "no water messages" and every water message stops, including the midday tip. Step, protein and gym reminders stop the same way. Earlie says "done" once the change is saved, and tells you if it was already off.
When a meal takes your day over your calorie target, Earlie also tells you where the last 7 days stand and the way back, from your own log. If your plan knows what you burn in a day, Earlie says how many normal days cover it. Earlie never asks you to eat less to make up.
When you correct a meal on a day that is already over your target, Earlie no longer adds a second sentence of his own about your week.
The first weight for a lift you have never done now comes from a lift of the same kind, or from your body weight, and stays under a safe ceiling for your body weight.
Beat your best on an exercise and the gym recap comes with one picture: your best set at each visit over the last 12 weeks, today's record in green. Two or three records get a small chart each. Ask "show me my leg curl progress" for the picture of one exercise.
Say "same wrap, I'm still hungry" or "încă o porție, mi-e foame" and Earlie logs the meal from your diary again. Before, a word about how you felt, like "hungry", "stuffed" or "best", was read as a new food and the repeat was turned away. A real other food ("same wrap but with fries") is still checked with you first.
A fish soup got the numbers of fish stock, which has almost no calories or protein, a "ciorbă de pește" got fried fishcakes, and a chicken broth got canned chicken. Now a soup, a ciorbă, a supă or a borș gets a soup's numbers, never those of a stock, a dry mix or a food that is not a soup. A broth, a stock or a "supă de oase" gets a broth's numbers.
Tell Earlie about one more exercise after your visit, like "and at the very end bench 3x8 at 60", and it is added as its own exercise; he no longer changes one you logged with a similar name, such as the smith bench. When Earlie is not sure which exercise you mean, he asks you once. If a number from today's visit is wrong, tell Earlie the right one: he corrects that exercise, with no second copy.
Ask what to eat and say what you have at home. Earlie answers with two plates, each with sizes and rough numbers that fit inside what is left of your day. Nothing is logged until you say what you made.
When you asked "what's for dinner?" a second time in the same chat, Earlie could send the earlier plates again, built on foods you named for the first question. Now a new question, in any language, reads what is left of your day again and builds new plates. If you name no food, he uses what you usually eat and asks what is in your fridge.
When you ask Earlie to stop or start a kind of message, or change a setting, Earlie now says "done" only when the change was really saved. If it was not, Earlie tells you plainly that nothing changed and asks you once more.
A 💧 followed soon after by "drank a glass" or "one more" now counts as two glasses, not one. The same message seen twice still counts once. Under 1 litre the total shows exactly, so one 250 ml glass reads 0.25 L, not 0.3 L.
At the end of a visit Earlie asks how it felt with three choices, and any of them now closes the visit. The summary counts only the exercises of that visit, not other training from the same day. Machine names and the gym lines stay in your language.
Ask Earlie to add a machine at your gym and the request now also carries what you lifted in that visit, so your history on it stays in one line. When the team adds the machine, Earlie tells you once: "Done: it is on your gym's list now." Only the person who asked gets that line.
Ask "how am I doing?" and Earlie answers with one picture of your weight, your week of calories and three small counts, plus one sentence on the biggest thing to change. The same picture comes with the Tuesday check-in.
Say "finish, that's it for today" and the visit still closes at once. Earlie then asks how it felt, and your answer, like "just right", is now saved on that visit when you give it within an hour. It is your words only, asked once, and a feel already saved is never replaced.
Tell Earlie your arm feels a bit stiff and the next day he asks how it feels, not whether you went to a doctor. The short hint about real warning signs stays, and when you describe one, Earlie still tells you to see a doctor today.
When your words for a set could fit more than one machine, Earlie still logs it on the exercise you were on, then asks once if that was the machine. Say no and he moves the set. Before, he logged the set there without saying it was a guess.
Olives and vegetable salads now get their own numbers. Before, olives could be counted as olive oil and a vegetable salad as beans or lentils, which made the day look much bigger than it was.
When you tell Earlie about one more exercise after your visit has ended, he asks you once for the weight and the reps, then adds it to that visit. Before, he took a long time and sometimes made a plan you did not ask for. Earlie also does not log a weight or reps that you did not give him.
Under your progress picture Earlie now writes one sentence on the biggest thing to change, and asking again later, in any language, always brings a fresh picture.
When you name a set with one word that many machines share, like "press", or call it the sled press while you were on another leg press, Earlie now asks once if that was the machine. Before, he logged the set on the card as if he were sure.
When Earlie offers another machine and you answer "yes, this one if it fits", the swap happens the first time. Earlie no longer asks you to say yes again. A yes to some other question, like "sitting?", still does not change your exercise.
In Romanian, the progress picture now writes its decimals with a comma, the same way the sentence under it does.
Ate only part of a plate? Say "I had half" or "80 % of it" and Earlie shrinks every food on the plate in one step, then tells you the new number and your day. A second correction counts from the full plate, "undo" brings the full plate back, and the meal's name shows the part, for example "(50 %)".
Tell Earlie that day that you slept badly or feel tired, and the gym cards drop the record attempt: your last set stays at last time's weight, with the usual number of sets. After three exercises Earlie offers once to stop there, and coming in still counts. The next day is normal again, and "I feel fine, normal session" turns it off.

Starting and stopping language practice answers in your own language
Practise a languageLanguagesWhen you start or stop practising a language, Earlie now confirms in your own language. If you write in English and practise German with Romanian underneath, "stop German" gets "Done, back to English." instead of a Romanian line.
When Earlie logged a food under the wrong name, for example a "yellow soup" that was a fish soup, and you told him what the food was, Earlie answered "that's what I logged" and kept the old numbers. Now he changes that food's name and its numbers at once, and tells you the new number.
When you start practising a language, Earlie now sends the confirmation in your own language, as written. Before, it could arrive already translated into the language you asked to practise. The practice starts with your next message.
When you log a dish you had before, Earlie starts from its number the last time, and now he finds the newest one even when its name has "cu" or "with", like "tacos cu steak de vită" (beef steak tacos). Before, such a name was read as two foods, so Earlie took an older, different plate. A real meal of two foods, like "pui cu orez" (chicken with rice), is still two foods.
Say "the same tacos as Thursday, but beef tongue instead of mushroom" and Earlie logs the meal with that food changed, or asks which food it replaced. He no longer copies last time's meal as it was. What Earlie tells you after is always what he saved.
Had the same meal again soon after? Say "another round" or "same again" and Earlie logs it from your diary as a new meal, where before a second helping within the hour was turned away. When a meal really was logged twice, Earlie now takes out the whole extra meal, never one food of it.
When an exercise in your plan touches a sore spot, Earlie asks how it feels before the visit starts. In an English chat the body part is now named in English, never in Romanian.
When you log another meal on a day that is already over your target, Earlie no longer talks about your week a second time. You hear about the week once that day. If the day went over without it, you hear it once with your next meal.
Type all your sets of an exercise in one line, like "leg press 12x14, 12x32, 10x45", and Earlie logs your top set, how many sets you did, and every set you typed. A set with no kg reads as reps first, so 12x14 is 12 reps with 14 kg. When Earlie had to guess the order, he says how he read your sets so you can fix it.
The water reminders and the midday water message now show litres the same way as the water log: under 1 litre the exact amount, so one 250 ml glass reads 0.25 L everywhere, never 0.3 L in one message and 0.25 L in the next.

Weights read back rounded, and the gym you name at setup is remembered
Kilos or poundsTraining logLive gym modeA set you give in pounds on kilos now reads back as 61.2 kg, not 61.235 kg, and a top set like 27.5 kg stays 27.5 kg in your progress list. When you name your gym during setup, Earlie remembers it, so your first visit starts there. A gym he does not know yet is kept in your own words, and Earlie does not ask you which gym again.
When you write in English, the foods Earlie logs and lists back now have English names too (grilled chicken breast, 2 tbsp tzatziki, beer), and a name you wrote yourself stays as you wrote it. Before, some of them came back in Romanian.
When you report a set with a loose word, like "did the press 40x10" or "the shoulder raise thing", Earlie now asks once if that was the machine, even when he knows the card's full name. Before, he could fill in the full name or pick the exercise himself and log the set as if he were sure. If Earlie showed you a numbered list and you picked one, or you typed the exact name, he logs the set at once.
The weekly look back now ends with the same picture you get when you ask how you are doing: your weight over 4 weeks, your calories for the week and three small counts.

When you say "leg press" and your gym has two leg press machines, Earlie now asks which one you mean. At a gym with only one, Earlie uses that one. A clear name like "45° leg press" still goes straight to that machine.
When you say "seated leg press", Earlie now asks which leg press you mean instead of picking a calf raise done on the leg press. An exercise whose name adds a movement you did not say is never picked as sure; Earlie asks you first.
When an exercise has no checked picture yet, Earlie sends one of a similar exercise for the same muscle and says so in one line. The name you use for an exercise is kept with your exercises, so Earlie finds it again next time.
Write "here is what I ate" before the photo arrives and Earlie waits for it. He never says a photo failed when it simply has not come yet.
Tell Earlie your arm feels stiff or sore and he asks where and how bad, then keeps it in mind for your training. For warning signs, like pain spreading down the arm or chest pain, he still tells you to get medical help today.
Say a machine is taken and Earlie swaps that exercise, not the one you are on. Undo never deletes a set you finished.
When Earlie reminds you about your steps and you then walk at least a fifth of your daily step goal, your next message gets one short well done for that walk before the answer. It comes once a day at most, and Earlie sends no extra message for it.
Say "it was 150 g of steak" and Earlie takes the numbers for that weight from his food table, instead of guessing.
When you have not written for a week, your next usual message becomes one short question: are these messages still useful, or should Earlie write less often, at another time, or take a break? You can also ask for a break of up to 8 weeks any day. Any message from you ends it, and Earlie checks once if you want to keep it.
When Earlie is not sure a machine is in your gym, he says so and asks for a photo of it.
Ask for it and Earlie reminds you to drink a glass of water when you fall behind, until the evening. The glass fits your own daily target. Answer with 💧 or say you had it, and it counts.
Send a photo of a machine that Earlie does not know, and Earlie keeps that photo for 7 days. Ask later, even the next day, to add the machine, and the request goes to the team with its photo. Other photos are still deleted after one day.
Tell Earlie what the plate really was, and he rebuilds the whole meal at once. Undo puts the old meal back.
Earlie now names each food on your plate and how much of it, and takes the numbers for each one from a food table instead of guessing the whole plate. The table knows 100 Romanian dishes, from sarmale to papanasi. The same dish keeps its number for two months, and a nutrition label in the photo counts as the label says.
When you close a visit, Earlie keeps how it felt in your own words. If he needs your answer, he asks once.
Say "use pounds" and Earlie gives every weight in pounds, height in feet and inches and distance in miles. A set like "135 for 8" is read in your unit, and suggestions go up in real pound steps. Food portions in ounces or pounds now work for everyone.
On an assisted pull-up or dip machine the weight helps you. Earlie now counts less help as harder, and as a new record.
Ask Earlie to practise German, French, Spanish, Italian or English with you, and say "stop" to go back. Every chat reply then comes in that language, with your usual language underneath in brackets, and Earlie corrects only real mistakes. Earlie also reads German now, and answers a German message in German.
Name a meal and Earlie takes the whole meal out, or gives it a new name, in one step. No old name is left behind.

Saying "remove the last one" takes the meal off, even right after a correction
Food photos and macrosSay "remove the last one" and Earlie takes your newest meal off the day, the whole meal. Before, saying it right after a correction such as "half of it" put the full plate back instead. When two meals could be the last one, Earlie asks which.
During setup Earlie asks you each question himself. An answer like "No pain, nothing medical" or "Nu am dureri, nimic medical" counts as nothing to report, so your plan does not end by asking where it hurts.
Name a pain in your arm, elbow, forearm, hand, chest, leg or foot during setup and Earlie knows where it is, without asking again.
Someone who signed up in English could get their first setup questions in Romanian. Now, until you write a full sentence, Earlie uses the language you signed up in, and English when there is none. Your own words still switch it at any time.
A workout from yesterday morning is no longer called last night. Earlie names the part of the day from when you trained.
Send a second photo of the same meal and Earlie adds it to that meal, then gives you the new day total in one reply.
If your words fit two machines in your gym equally well, Earlie names both and asks which one. He never picks one quietly.
Earlie quotes your day total exactly as logged, never with a meal counted twice. A vague portion, like some chicken, gets a range from the food table.
Describe the machine in your own words and Earlie keeps the exercise he gave you. He no longer switches to another machine by mistake.

If you say in setup that something hurts but not where, your plan ends with one question: where exactly does it hurt, and how does it feel. Earlie no longer moves it to tomorrow.
At the last sign-up question you can reply with your age, for example "39". If you are 18 or over, you are on the list at once. An unclear answer gets a short "Just reply YES if you're 18 or over."
Ask Earlie to add a machine and send its photo, and the request goes straight to the team. Feedback you already sent is not sent twice.
Tell Earlie in your own words, for example "2 or 3 times a week" or "no food tracking". Earlie saves it and confirms in one line. On the other days he stays quiet, and he stops asking about what you turned off.
When yesterday's log stops before dinner, the morning message asks what you ate later. It no longer calls the day light on protein from a half log.
When you reply to one of Earlie's earlier messages, or write while Earlie is still answering, Earlie stays in your language. A short word like "Ok" keeps the language you last wrote in.
Write "10 reps with 5 kg" and Earlie logs 10 reps at 5 kg, never the two numbers the wrong way round. When you give the weight for one side, Earlie keeps it as one side.
At the age question, an answer like "no idea what this is" now gets the question again and keeps your place. Only a plain "no" ends the sign-up.
When Earlie names an exercise in your language, or by the name you gave it, and promises its form picture, the picture now arrives.
