What it does
Describe an exercise the way you would to a friend, in English or Romanian. Earlie finds the right exercise and can send a short animation of the form. He also suggests exercises for a muscle group.
How to use it
- Describe it. For example “the machine where you push with your legs”.
- Pick when unsure. If two exercises match, Earlie asks with pictures. An exercise that adds a movement you did not say (a calf raise when you said “leg press”) or a narrower version (a reverse grip or one arm version when you said “lat pulldown” or “cable chest fly”) is never picked without asking.
- Ask for ideas. “Something for my back” brings a few options. If Earlie does not know your gym yet, he asks which one first, and a machine comes as a question with a free weight option.
- See the form. Ask in any language, or use your own name for the move, and Earlie sends the animation. Several moves come under one short line, in the order of the list.
- Your own names stay. A correct name you use for an exercise is kept, so Earlie finds it again next time.
Limits
- The form animations come from a public exercise library, and Earlie credits it.
- Some exercises have no checked picture yet. Then Earlie sends a picture of a similar exercise for the same muscle and says that it is a different exercise.
- A nickname is understood in the moment but not kept: Earlie says the real name once instead.
